Language Assistance

We assign you an interpreter-coordinator on-site, who will assist you with different concierge needs:
  • Scheduling an appointment and follow-up consultations and diagnostics arrangements;
  • Facilitating communication with your physician and other clinical staff;
  • Assisting with prescription requests;
  • Obtaining medical reports and diagnostics results in English after visiting your physician.

*Please note: An interpreter is available on-site during business hours (09:00 – 18:00). If you plan to visit our medical centers during non-business hours, please let us know in advance.

To schedule an appointment, please be ready to provide your health insurance information:
  • insurance company name
  • policy number
  • expiry date
If there’s no billing arrangement between Doctor Sam and your insurance company, you should always keep the Checklist:
  1. Contact your insurance company to verify medical coverage prior to your visit and obtain any needed authorization/referral, if required by your insurance company.
  2. Make sure you understand your covered benefits and costs. Please note, that international health insurance companies have different benefits for each plan and depend on an area of rendering medical care.
  3. Know the limitations and obtain an extension of the scope, if needed.
If your insurance company confirms a requested visit to our clinics, we will provide you with billing and documental assistance to facilitate the insurance reimbursement process afterward:
  • invoices in English
  • medical reports in English
  • completing claim forms, if needed

We accept all major credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and others.

All cash payments must be made in Ukrainian Hryvnias (UAH) according to the official exchange rate by the National Bank of Ukraine.

A letter of pre-authorization from your embassy or a sponsor company is required prior to your visit and receiving any treatment.

Step 2: Appointment confirmation

Once your medical and financial arrangements are discussed with
a coordinator, you will receive an email confirmation of the date and
time of your visit to Doctor Sam clinic.

Step 3: Previous Medical Records

Please send us or bring copies of relevant medical records
and physician reports, immunization records (in English, Ukrainian or Russian languages)
and films (X-ray, MRI, CT scans, ultrasound), if needed.
